This was a classic spring thunderstorm in May that built up steam as it came. The clouds were dark like the night sky and then they started swirling and mixing like a lava lamp. The wind picked up and the rain fell hard. Lightning came down in arcs to the ground, pausing for a moment as if to pose for a picture. This was a Dark Thunderstorm.
